STL’S Outdoor Summer Concerts for 2016

It’s Friday(!) and we are taking a break from your educational tree posts so we could share the fun stuff.  Here at St. Louis Tree Pros we love to be outside, we also love local music and food.  After all the rain in our area lately we are really looking forward to some of our city’s FREE outdoor events (most of which are also hosting local food and drink vendors).

Today we are sharing just a few recurring shows that we are looking forward to.  There are so many to chose from, we could almost go to a show every night. But as responsible adults, we wouldn’t do that…

Tuesdays

Twilight Tuesdays Ameren Concert Series features music and much more on the History Museum grounds in Forest Park.  Concerts 6-8pm, but more fun for the whole family if you arrive early! (Face painting, magician, make-and-take crafts on the North Lawn start at 5:30pm)

Wednesdays

Whitaker Music Festival at Missouri Botanical Gardens.  This gets pretty crowded for a reason.  They feature some really amazing groups (we are looking forward to The Cree Rider Family Band in particular!)  Admission to Garden is FREE after 5pm and music starts at 7:30pm.  Coolers, picnic-suppers, and dancing encouraged.

Thursdays

Summer Concerts in the Park at Bluebird Park. Music from 7-9pm at this park in St. Louis County.

Fridays

ArtHill Film Series shows MOVIES outdoors Friday nights during the Month of July in Forest Park.  This year’s theme: The American Spirit.  Check out their website for the list of titles.

Saturdays

Summer Concert Series in Faust Park.  The park opens at 5:30pm for seating and concessions.  Concerts are 7-9pm.
