Climbing Arborist (full time)
Climbing Arborist:
A safe and effective climber is necessary to lead the crew in accomplishing a safe and productive work environment. 
  • Trim or remove trees in a variety of urban/suburban areas in a safe and effective manner 
  • Perform maintenance on trees to affect the health and safety of the environment  
  • Safely operate chainsaws, machinery and company vehicles
  • Ability to safely and effectively rig down branches and logs above a variety of obstacles
  • Proficiently climb trees using double and single rope techniques
  • Comfortably utilize spikes to remove dead trees
  • Work well with others and enjoy having a good time while working hard 
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons of Missouri 
  • ISA certification a plus, but ability to obtain in the first year required
  • Desirable: Relevant pesticide certificates required by State of Missouri
Ground Crew
Grounds Worker: 
An effective tree crew demands a quality ground worker. Climbing arborists are heavily reliant on team members on the ground, and we highly value their hard work to keep the jobs running smoothly, be trusted by the team and aid in the safety of fellow crew members. The importance of this role cannot be overstated.   
  • Provide support for crew members climbing trees by safely lowering or raising ropes, limbs, tools, etc.   
  • Control road or sidewalk traffic to ensure public and crew safety 
  • Safely and effectively utilize chainsaw, chipper, and other tools/machinery to clean up job site
  • Driver’s license required
  • Ability to perform duties listed above
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons of Missouri 
  • Ability to follow proper safety guidelines from training or verbal directions
  • Ability to have a good time while working
